CORN SILAGE Viaar Gold Silage

VIAAR GOLD SILAGE

OUR VIAAR GOLD SILAGE, a CORN SILAGE forage, is a leading feed for milk production and weight gain in livestock.

CORN SILAGE is made from the entire corn plant (leaves, stalk, and grain); it provides high-quality fiber with starch energy.

Key Benefits of our CORN SILAGE.

CORN SILAGE shows exceptionally high energy and starch content.

Unlike pure grass silage, corn silage includes the actual corn grain, which is packed with starch. This provides livestock with massive amounts of easily accessible energy, which is critical for high-yielding dairy cows during peak lactation and beef cattle in finishing lots.

2. High adaptability and Intake

The natural sugars and starches in the corn plant ferment into high levels of lactic acid, giving the silage a sweet, appealing aroma. Cattle highly prefer this taste, which stimulates their appetite, drives up daily dry matter intake (DMI), and reduces feed sorting behavior.

3. Maximized Forage Yield Per Acre

Our Corn produces a massive volume of biomass per acre in a single harvest compared to traditional grasses or small grains. This high per-acre yield allows commercial farms to produce large quantities of high-density energy feed using a smaller land footprint.

4. Superior Feed Digestibility

When corn is harvested at the ideal moisture level (65–70%) and properly processed through a kernel processor, the fiber in the stalks and the starch in the grain become highly available to rumen microbes. This ensures rapid digestion and highly efficient nutrient absorption.

5. Uniform and Stable Feed Consistency Because corn silage is harvested, chopped, packed, and fermented all at once, it creates a highly uniform feed supply. This consistency prevents the sudden dietary shifts that can upset an animal’s digestive system, leading to stable, predictable daily milk yields.
